Jag försöker komma på ett bra exempel med sannolikhet och statistik och googlade runt lite efter lite passande grejer. På min sökning kom detta upp (Ifrån 2+2 som är ett gambling/pokerforum som jag besöker frekvent);

I have a probability question. I'm not a mathematician so please bear with me. I've read that if you flip a coin 10 times and it comes up heads every time then it's still a 50/50 chance to be a heads or tails on the 11th flip. This is counterintuitive to most people. They think that tails is "due".

On the other hand, we can do trials of flipping a coin. If we did a million trials of 1000 coin flips we might find that the most consecutive heads or tails ever recorded is 25 (for example). Wouldn't it make sense then that betting on tails after 25 consecutive heads in a new trial (with a fair coin) is +ev? Isn't it highly improbable statistically that you'll continue to flip heads again and again after 25 straight?
Are these two ideas correct and can they be reconciled? Thanks

 Jag vet inte hur folk tänker men tycker någon att detta är logiskt? Jag förstår ärligt talat inte hur dum man kan vara om man ändå inser att första delen är sann, hur kan man inte fatta fel andra delen är? Gud vad jag hatar människor :).
